My daughter goes to this school. The teacher's at this school is not concerned about the children's education. The school is more involved in fundraisers and getting money for after-school program. The principal is not involved on what is actually going on in the school. If come to her with an issue, her famous line is, take your kid out and place them in another school. The school needs knew leadership if they want to make it in the future.

My daughter attends PreK this year so while we don't have many years experience we have been very satisfied with her education thus far. All the teachers we have had interactions with have been great. I feel like we have us great feedback from our teacher regarding our daughters progress. Especially refreshing is that the teachers seem to really enjoy teaching the kids & teaching at this school. We will be returning to CWS this fall for kindergarten. I have been as active as I can on the PTA and have found the parents generally to be involved & caring.

My child is finishing up her last year at CWS. She started in Pre-K and her time at the school has been incredibly successful. She has developed relationships not only with her peers, but with all of her teachers, and the staff. It really is a community and a family.

It has been an absolute joy to have both of my daughters enrolled in this school. My kindergartener started reading just two months into the school year and my third grader is reading at the fifth grade level and won't put a book down! SO much arts education and smart boards in the classroom - nurturing environment too. I LOVE the small class sizes and school size ( my third grader only has 18 kids in her class - unheard of). Best part is the collaboration between staff and parents. Would highly recommend this progressive school to any child in the five boroughs.
