This is one of the most unique communities, we have ever lived in. It is very diverse yet extremely friendly. It has that old fashion neighborhood feel where neighbors really look do look out for each other. Community over all else, makes this an exceptional place to grow your family and remain active in the happenings around the city. We love it here!
Bad Value
This neighborhood is definitely one to miss. Building is going on and workers are everywhere. However the real issue is the HOA. They have been present less than a year and they are already some of the most expensive and strict in the city. They are controlled by the developers currently with residents being given the opportunity to sit on the board as early as 2021. They look out only for the developer interest and the ability to sell homes rather than the homeowners that live there. Additionally the homes are cheaply made and built. Definitely look elsewhere to buy and wait until homeowners are able to have their interests represented
Home Buyers BEWARE... Prado community is not a good look
I took a Prado home tour off of highway 71. I am afraid that the houses are being built FAR too quickly (cheaply made), the houses are on top of each other (they do not contain yards, as the advertisements show... your back yard is the garage), and we were being PUSHED to BUY BUY BUY! This will be a disaster. I too am a millenial. These homes will not meet your expectations unless you desire homely, cookie cutter details and tiny spaces. We bought a home in Austin for $10,000 less than Prado Homes.. AND have a huge back yard, 2 whole bathrooms, and three large bathrooms. Don't let anyone push you into applying for a loan. This means they are not providing a quality product. They just want to get rid of it.
