At San Diego Country Estates residents have many community resources to get active and stay active. Riviera Oaks Resort & Racquet Club offers so much more than tennis. In addition to the 17 full tennis courts, the facility also includes a basketball court, a pickleball court, shuffleboard, and even an outdoor pool. With ample parking and a wide selection of sporting options, it's easily one of the top features of the community. Just around the bend from the tennis courts is the San Vicente Resort and Golf Course and San Diego Country Estates Community Pool. The San Vicente Resort and Golf Course hosts its own exclusive tennis courts as well as 18 holes on a par 72 championship golf course. The course is known to be one of San Diego's best with its rolling diverse terrains and scenic passes. The resort also offers two dining options for residents and guests and even caters to the long-standing traditional equestrian practices in the area. The International Equestrian Center is features a half-mile conditioning track and was designed for English-style riding with multiple training levels in the art of Dressage, Stadium Jumping, and Cross-Country. The Casey Tibbs Western Center is a Western-style riding facility and features a large show arena, which is great for practicing reining patterns and Gymkhana. Barrels and poles are available for use. The Casey Tibbs Western Center is located on Pappas Road and sits between the racquet club and the San Vicente Resort and Golf Course. The SDCEA Recreation Center is situated in the heart of Ramona Oaks Park and features a large, sparkling pool. Surrounded by expanses of green space, it's a blissful location for all kinds of outings and events. The SDCEA Recreation Department plans and organizes several events and activities for the community as well.
