Summit Parkway Middle School

My A/B Honor Roll Student has attended this school for 3 years. Her continuous gripe is the way Calveretta Brown speaks to students. I was talking to my daughter as she was headed to her after-school program, this woman asked my child 4 TIMES if she was in this particular program. My daughter answered her redundant question respectfully each time. Obviously, this woman did not believe that my Daughter was in this program. After the 4th time Calveretta asked THE SAME QUESTION my Daughter offered “You can ask my Teacher, I am in this program.”Calveretta responds “Child, don’t tell me who I can ask, I’m an adult!” I witnessed this with my own excellent hearing. Vile! My Daughter asked me to keep it calm but Parents BEWARE!!Children who are bullied due to weight issues and things of that nature sometimes grow up and assume positions that give them a sense of authority. Calveretta used her position and the fact that she is an adult to speak to my child in a way that she WOULD NOT if I were standing there! Protect your children.My family doesn’t practice Voudou for no reason. Tuh!

They do not teach good at all

Not good I noticed it has a lot of bad reviews and it seems like they are not trying to change it or have a meeting and find out what the problem is

Absolutely terrible. I have 3 children at 3 different schools in the district. My kids at the other 2 schools have had exceptional experiences with top notch learning environments with caring and focused administration. This school however is a dire exception. It’s seens every day my child comes home and tells me about her day at Summit Parkway Middle I am appalled.
