Around Seacliff
Seacliff is a rather diverse neighborhood in terms of housing, near Balboa Street to the south, you can find lots of converted apartment buildings, multi-unit family houses, and a few condo buildings. While further up north around Point Lobos Avenue, houses are somewhat more upscale that feature million dollar exteriors, as well as some modest single-family homes.
The culinary scene is limited in Seacliff. A few dining options can be found south of the neighborhood along Point Lobos Avenue. You can find some traditional American cuisine as well as brunch and seafood restaurants. There is also a delicious cafe on 34th Avenue that serve up breakfast, deli sandwiches, and baked goods for a light meal.
This neighborhood tends to be populated by mostly families with children and retired residents. The closer you get to the actual grounds of Sutro Heights Park, you'll notice an abundance of large mansions and winding roads among the scenic hills. Residences closer to the edge bordering near the Outer Richmond area, homes are more modern and with a younger crowd.
The nightlife scene in Lincoln Park is very limited with a few options in the neighborhood. Locals like to either check out a restaurant for a quiet dinner along the sea cliffs or drive down to other neighborhoods nearby for more entertainment.
Almost nothing in the city can compete with Land's End, a beautiful and sprawling park with plenty of coastal trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Sundays are perfect for enjoying the vast outdoor spaces where people from all over the city make the track to get gorgeous views of Golden Gate. Locals can also check the Sutro Baths for a dose of history or visit the Legion of Honor, which is part of the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, to view exhibits and collections of various art works.
