Gardening it's also a very popular pastime in St. Edwards. St. Edwards also features some of the most visually striking scenery in the Austin metropolitan area. The college itself is situated on a large cliff, commanding an amazing view of downtown and its environs. The Blunn Creek Nature Preserve follows the winding course of the waterway, providing enjoyable hiking and biking activities. If you follow the creek from Saint Eds you will come to one of the most delightful swimming pools in all of America: Big Stacy, and the children's version, Little Stacy. They are perfect places to swim and picnic away a hot Texas summer. In between the two swimming pools are 3 acres of beautiful park to enjoy picnics with the family.
