Sun Lakes

After reading the first couple of comments it sounds to me like these folks should just move on down the road. I live in HOA#2 which is wonderful, a new fitness center which is paid for and free to our homeowners. We have a strong Manager of our community which helps us to avoid problems some of the others have.

The houses cost more than the surrounding areas, and are supposed to be protected by the CCR's, but it seems that the Association really doesn't enforce much of anything. It appears that the main form of entertainment here is gossip and badmouthing other groups and people. And here we thought it was golf...

They started to remodel fitness center in may of 2018 ,4rooms only. It is now in the middle of Dec. 2018 , Not done yet. Something wrong here?

My wife and I moved here in 2007 from California. We were looking for an Active Adult Community with golf, swimming pools, restaurants, and close to Phoenix. We chose Oakwood at Sun Lakes that met all of our wants and needs. The 45 holes of golf, the restaurants and pools are outstanding. The community and all of the amenities are well taken care of and the people are real friendly. Purchasing a home in the Sun Lakes area will be like living at a resort year round. Do it now. You won't be disappointed.
