The reviews that are currently available are obviously very outdated. The school has since been divided into two separate campuses, Ingram High School & Ingram Middle School. New top-notch administration has taken over as well. Both of these schools have gained some incredible momentum moving in the right direction in the last couple of years. The schools has improved significantly in academics, along with athletics, & construction to update facilities is in progress & near completion. Although the school has always demonstrated success in multiple areas, but it seems it wasn't always publicized. It is wonderful to send our children to such a nurturing environment. We have tried to larger school district next door, but the Ingram schools are a better fit for multiple reasons...non-stop opportunities to compete in any athletic offerings of their choice, multiple extracurricular UIL academic & other competitions, advanced course offerings all within a "small town" environment. The community is supportive & genuinely proud of the school. The icing on the cake is the gorgeous hill country setting that the campuses provide across the street from the Guadalupe River. I love that the smaller size allows us to get to know parents & their kids, and that we all look out for each other's kids. The smaller size also allows teachers the opportunity to provide quality instruction with lower student to teacher ratios. Our children were attending Ingram schools as transfer students from a neighboring district, but we have since relocated within the school boundaries in order to fully immerse ourselves in this wonderful hill country school & community. From what I understand, the district is currently experiencing steady & rapid growth, due I believe to all of the same reasons we have chosen Ingram ISD for our children.

I have five friends that i made last year that transferred from Ingram Tom Moore to Tivy High School. Of them was the salutatorian, and the third and fifth ranked people in the class. When they arrived at Tivy they struggled. Apparently the teachers at Ingram passed most of their students even when they didn't deserve the grade. Since they have moved to Tivy, they're class ranks were high because of the free A's they received at Ingram. Great job Ingram for giving people GPA's that they didn't deserve.
