Excellent. My children's experience at Keller High is not perfect, but it is a school with a lot of opportunity and excellent instruction overall.

Mediocre, at best. There is alot of nepitism in sports programs, and many of the clubs are just there so people can earn a cord for graduation. Advanced academics (AP Classes) are okay, but not really available as early as in many surrounding districts.

Poor, lacking innovation, hands on research projects, drugs and vaping are out of control and the bathrooms are beyond filthy.

Keller High School overall is a very challenging school academically. There are plenty of very bright students here that do not take for granted the community and school that has given them the opportunity to succeed. Rather, there is an interesting dichotomy within both the students and the staff. As stated, there are very bright students here. On the other hand, there are students that get caught up in the wrong crowd and engulf themselves in a life of drugs. Sadly, Keller High administrators have done little to close this gap. I think stronger counseling that pushes students at the bottom academically and through extracurriculars is needed to close this gap.The same goes for teachers. On one hand, I have had some of the best teachers that have greatly impacted my view on certain subjects for the better. On the other hand, I have had teachers that have completely tainted my desire for others. The teachers here are a big gamble, especially if you decide to take on-level classes, which are more likely taught by newer/inexperienced teachers. Certain teachers are notorious and you will quickly hear from others whether a certain teacher is good or bad.Going into my senior year, I have had an overall wonderful experience. I think Keller High school's challenging nature will help me well into the future. I do think most of the school's issues come from administrative ineffectiveness. Both the gap in student attitudes/achievements and teacher performance could be solved if the administrators studied both groups effectively and more often.
