Spring Attractions
Because of Spring's size, visitors can see almost all of the town in an afternoon. Regardless of where they settle down, homeowners can easily access Spring Creek and the nearby greenway. Many also enjoy exploring the historic homes and buildings that fill Old Town Spring, which sits in the center of town.
Spring Restaurants & Nightlife
True to its small-town nature, most restaurants are clustered together and normally along the highway. These restaurants include a mix of fast food, Texas-style BBQ, and Cajun cuisine. The dining in Spring is consistent with the town's nature and appeals to anyone who wants a Texas-sized meal at a small-town price. Weekend entertainment can be found sprinkled around town. There are a good selection of bars in Old Town Spring and the surrounding area where locals spend their evenings, while along the highway, residents can also spend a night at the local movie theater or the entertainment complex/driving range, Topgolf. Old Town is also a fun destination to grab food in the evening before heading over to the local saloon for some live music.
Spring Culture
For fun in the sun, there are few better places to live than Spring. Spring Creek runs along the eastern border of town, surrounded by parks, preserves, and greenways where residents can take a walk or go for a bike ride. To beat the heat, you can also head to the Wet 'n' Wild SplashTown for thrilling water slides and relaxing lazy river.
Spring Transportation
Spring falls outside of Houston's public transit network, making it a town where you'll need to own a car. Commuting into Houston can be done via Interstate 45 or, for a faster commute, Hardy Toll Road. As far as walkability, most neighborhoods don't have local amenities. However, residents can spend a day on foot traveling between neighboring stores and restaurants in Old Town Spring.
