The Colony Amenities

The Colony is a sprawling community with tons of amenities and opportunities for activities for its residents along with stunning view of Lewisville Lake. The area has three golf courses: The Tribute, Stewart Peninsula, and Old American. It's also is home to the Colony Five Star, a state-of-the-art athletic complex, as well as Blue Sky Sports Center, a 43,000 square-foot indoor soccer facility, leading The Colony to be named the #1 Sports Town in Texas by Sports Illustrated Magazine and the National Parks and Recreation Association. The community offers much more than sports, such as its full-service marina at Hidden Cove Park, which features slips, rentals, and a ship store. There are a number of clubhouses on the premises, which include amenities like a fitness center, aerobics studio, massage rooms, ballrooms, a catering kitchen, an infinity pool that overlooks Lewisville Lake, bocce ball pits, an event lawn, fire pits, pro shops, restaurants, and more. The community also has ten miles of walking and biking trails, broad access to Lewisville Lake, and over 200 acres of green space. Students at The Colony can attend schools in the Lewisville Independent School District and the Little Elm Independent School District. The Lewisville ISD includes six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school in The Colony's city limits alone. The Little Elm ISD also features a K-8 STEM Academy in The Tribute at The Colony.
