Glen Allen High School

10/10 a great school who really cares for their students and has an amazing staff

my daughter is a freshman at this school. I have calling for a week to have her moved out of a class. I am told I have to speak to the principal. I have left numerous messages and get a multitude of excuses but have yet to receive a return call. Excuses range from "the Renassance Fair is here today", "she is preparing for Back to School Night"......when exactly does she take care of the students??? She is also the reason music with words can't be played at the school dances!!!

I am currently a freshmen at Glen Allen High School. I love this school! I have been reading that pass reviews of this school and I am here to tell you that teachers care so much about each and every student! If you ask a teacher for help, they will meet with you and help you. They are truly amazing! There is little to no bullying. The classes can be challenging, but that is what is good! Students need to be challenged to learn! There are so many clubs and activities that literally there is something for everyone. They school is beautiful and very safe and I have enjoyed my first year at Glen Allen and I never want to leave. Many people view it as the "preppy school". Some of the people do have some money, but every school does. To everyone that thinks this school is racist, it isn't! It is not a racist school. I have yet to see any fights or bullying or heard any gossip regarding race. I am not trying to convince you that this school doesn't have it flaws like every other school. But, this has been an amazing experience and if you can go to GAHS, please go! It is the best school in the county and the highest rated one! GO JAGS!

Yeah the school is diverse every school is. But there is always a certain demographic getting in trouble at that school.
