Richmond Transportation
Richmond has a small-town vibe but with big-city entertainment, which means getting around the city is easy and traffic is almost non-existent. Many of the city's main attractions are just a few minutes away by car. The city also provides plenty of easy street parking. If you'd rather hop on two wheels, Richmond's Virginia Bike Trail is the best way to see all that the city has to offer. For an even more eco-friendly mode of transportation, Richmond is a relatively walkable city where it's easy to walk to notable attractions, like Downtown, Short Pump Towne Center, or the local farmers market. And when your feet get tired, you can always hop on the GRTC bus to get across town. But when traveling even farther is necessary, the Richmond International Airport is just a few minutes outside of Downtown.
