Villages of Oriole

The Villages of Oriole is a large campus of 55+ communities on the west side of Delray Beach. Each of the communities have their own amenities and several of them are gated. The cost of living in Delray Beach is average for Florida and slightly above the U.S. national average. Housing prices in the Villages of Oriole range lower than other nearby communities that are closer to the coast. Public transportation in the area is limited to a couple of bus lines that run through the community and along Atlantic Boulevard, connecting the area to downtown Delray Beach. Grocery shopping and day-to-day errands are quick and easy to complete at the Villages of Oriole Plaza, which is home to a grocery store and a number of retail shops and services. A range of national restaurant chains and retailers have locations within a short drive of the community’s entrance as well. The Villages of Oriole are about a 20-minute drive from the beach and a strip of upscale eateries and boutiques. For casual entertainment closer to home, there are two movie theaters nearby and several golf courses. Each of the homeowners’ associations within the community routinely organize or host a number of events and social clubs.
