Kate Oczypok
Kate is a freelance writer, piano teacher and photographer located in the D.C. area. She has written for publications like the Washingtonian, Brides.com and US Weekly. Currently, she writes for Capitol File, LA Confidential, The Georgetowner, The DC Line and more. She adores the two dozen children and three adults she teaches piano. Kate lives in the Rockville area of D.C. with her boyfriend and English bulldog Moe. She loves the dog friendly, warm and fun neighborhood she lives in—even if it's hard being a Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers fan in enemy territory.
