Lauren is a new mom to a baby girl, old mom to a stinky chocolate lab, and happily married to a Veteran. When she isn't writing or hanging out with her family, you can catch her eating her way through the Triangle, watching Duke basketball, or scouring local real estate for hidden gems to fix up in her imagination a la Chip & Joanna. She's been published with local magazine Carolina Parent and national publications like Huffington Post. She would be happiest living in Oakwood but acknowledges you can't go wrong living anywhere in the City of Oaks.
