Imperial Oaks prides itself on its breathtaking natural surroundings. The crown jewel of the community is Imperial Oaks Park, which features 43 acres of natural wooded areas with 1.5-mile loops with scenic overlooks. The community is dotted with more massive nature preserves, too, such as the heavily wooded 28-acre Webber Pond Nature Preserve, 10-acre Redwing Nature Preserve, 2.8-acre Cattail Pond Nature Preserve, and several smaller parks. Residents have tons of opportunities to feel at one with Texas flora and fauna. The community also takes its leisure time seriously, dedicating over 100 acres to recreational amenities alone. Centered around the Imperial Oaks Residents Club, community members are treated to amenities such as the community's Junior Olympic swimming pool, playgrounds, volleyball and basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and a gymnasium. There are also many more multi-use facilities for gatherings or meetings of all kinds. Imperial Oaks is served by the Conroe Independent School District, where students can attend Kaufman Elementary School, Vogel Intermediate School, York Junior High School, Oak Ridge Senior High School, and nearby Montgomery College for higher education.
